West-Mark Partnership with Enzoic Wins Award For  “Identity Management Project of the Year – SMB”

Identity Defined Security Alliance’s “Identity Management Project of the Year – SMB” recognized Enzoic’s customer West-Mark for the results of an initiative that eliminated compromised credentials from their environment.

West-Mark, an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of trucks and trailers, is an essential supplier for the US Department of Defense and the United States military. However, their high-stakes position in the nation’s supply chain makes them a tempting target for cybercriminals.

To manage risk, Last year West-Mark employed Enzoic to help comply with National Institute of Standards (NIST) cybersecurity guidelines and keep its business secure.  The project allowed West-Mark to comply with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity guidelines, 800-171 and 800-63B.

In addition to automating the detection and removal of unsafe passwords, West-Mark was able to remove periodic forced password resets. Now a password reset is only required now if a password is exposed. This significantly reduced user friction, a huge bonus within a company with tight security. Lastly, Enzoic also now helps guide West-Mark employees on how to select strong and unique passwords, which has beneficial effects for everyone, within the company and on an individual basis.

In order to secure government contracts, suppliers like West-Mark must adhere to the NIST cybersecurity guidelines. With Enzoic’s solution, West-Mark has been able to meet the standards and win large public sector contracts. The risk of a successful password-based attack against West-Mark has been mitigated by using Enzoic tools.

The Identity Management Project of the Year Award is an acknowledgment that companies can improve their security postures nearly overnight, and that Enzoic is a highly effective partner in achieving a stronger defensive stance.
